AN Amateur Voice Acting 5

I drew these for my brother's Amateur Voice Acting panel at last (last) weekend's lovely Anime North convention yaaaaay! It was part of a game where fabulous volunteers come up to voice random characters (including ones drawn for past AVA panels) along to audience written scripts. Thank you to everyone who came out and a special shout out to Lauren, Sarah, Heather and Heather's-cool-boyfriend for coming over to say hi afterwards! Good times!

And now stories: Unfooooortunately, there was a major FUBAR with the panel as the con organizers were supposed to (we asked well in advance!!!) have audio and visual equipment set up for 6:30 as the panel ran from 7 until 9, but when we got there the doors were still locked, and after much panic, scrambling around, and phone calls, the crew didn't get everything set up until 8pm (an hour into the panel). My brother and his friend Dan managed to bide the time running random contests, doing vocal exercises and betting on when equipment would show up. But wow, I was a major nervous wreck the whole time until that projector arrived, aaaugh!

But despite the A/V issues and the panel being cut way too short, everyone who came out was so keen and upbeat and awesome, (which is why I always love AN so much) and so I wanna thank you guys for making this last year of the Amateur Voice Acting challenge go out with a bang and for keeping me from spazzing out from all the stress
