Sketchoholic dot com Challenge

Since the start of this week I've been participating in a lot of the 1-hour sketch challenge marathons over on sketchoholic.com as a way to get my drawing brain back in shape (because I was bad and didn't draw much while in California...). It's a fun process and I recommend it highly to everyone who wants to keep leaning, improving, and just have fun drawing something you wouldn't normally think up.

Sketchoholic.com is an aaaamazing site with inspiring and motivating interviews from some of the art industries top people (comic artists, story boarders, concept designers, character designers at Pixar and Dreamworks, oil painters, etc etc etc.) and at pretty much every day at around 2pm EST there's a just-for-fun sketch marathon where you draw the topic, the winner picks the next topic and on and on you go. And there are other drawing challenges that actually have prizes attached as well (I won a cool caricature art book the other day!)

I've found this community to be fun, inspiring, informative, and by participating in the marathons I'm feeling myself getting faster and faster at drawing. Fun times!
