Hahaha! This reminds me of a trip to an apple orchard that my class took in the 1st grade. I can't remember how the apples we picked tasted in comparison to store apples, but I do remember that we weren't allowed to eat any apples while we were in the orchard.
Why? Why do you always DO this to you and your poor little sister?! Have you not seen Fullmetal Alchemist? Need I remind you what happens when you become gluttonous?! [link]
Then again, I'm not one to talk. Being down here we've got uuber access to coconuts & mangoes delicious, succulent...MANGOES *drools* But alas *sigh* the season has ended for such a fruit. I hope you can find someway to enjoy your favorite seasonal fruit without going overboard any more than you guys already have. =^-^=
Congrats on the storyboard contract! And, I agree completely! Picking fruit off a tree, or bush, or vine...etc. is ALWAYS superior to buying store fruits. Unfortunately I'm guilty of being one of those peoples who picks fruit off of random trees hanging fruit over people's fences...
i have the same problem here down south with strawberry picking. i always eat the entire basket before we even get to weight the pickings. ugh. talk about a HUGE stomach ache, but they are so damn good!!
My family had the same exciting fun with u-picks with cherries, strawberries, and other fruits. My parents would joke with the owners that they should weigh all the kids before they picked and after so they could charge for how many pounds we ate. ^_^
