i always ran stop signs just because for the first half of my life (the walking and biking half) they were pretty much useless! XD so when i started driving, i didn't realize they were there. my driving instructor was not happy.
Oh, my gosh. I'm close to doing the same thing. I'm beyond scared of driving, and I feel like just getting myself into a college for next year is going to be tough enough I'll admit it though, I feel kinda foolish seeing kids younger than me driving all over the freakin' place! LOL
I just had to comment on this, as I'm going through with getting my learners, and I turned 21 last week. Like Ontario, Alberta also has a Graduated Driver's License, so it's nice to know I'm in the same boat with someone else in their 20's.
Woot! Breakin' the law. People are getting there licenses everywhere these days. I got mine in September, my boyfriend's in the process of getting his in the next two months, and my co-worker got arrested the week of Thanksgiving and her birthday for never getting hers!
She got out within five days though and had turkey and b-day cake at home. Oh and she has her license now.
Oh dear... Although I`m still 20, I have also procrastinated that very same thing for years. (6, to be precise) It scares me. I hate driving, AND I suck at it! But now school is taking a vacation and I have no more excuses! I feel for you, or with you, or whatever.. >___<
This makes me feel better about being 20 and not having anything that resembles a drivers license. I did actually get the driver's training manual but it remains unopened as of six months. I feel like I might try when I have need for a car. And money.
HAHAHAHA, This is my super most Fav comic yet! Hehe, it took me 3 years to get my butt in gear to get my License too (here in South Africa you can only get ur license at 18) Good luck with ur Drivers Ed!! Will be looking forward to the following tales of ur experience! ^^
I've put off driving for almost 3 years now. When I was 15 my parents owned a horse track so we could practice driving int he middle of the track. One day I tried it for the first time and as a joke, while I was driving past, Jason, my older brother, jumped out form behind a large sign.
I THOUGHT I hit the brake but it turns out I didn't and ended up hitting him and almost running him over....
Driving in L.A was like driving on a freeway into hell
My instructor slammed the brakes on his side of the car once, and I asked him why the hell he did that. He told me I was about to run over the curb (which I wasn't). So after arguing with him a bit he looked out my side of the car and said,"Oops, guess you were right. Continue driving."
