Quite a lot of it. I keep thinking the day is longer than 24 hours and sleep isn't THAT important, is it?

Tip of the Week: VisualizingWhen you visualize the task before you do it, it makes it that much easier to accomplish and accomplished better. Especially for drawing and painting. Before I work on a film, I take about 10 or 20 minutes staring at something dark or close my eyes to try and visualize the movie before I start painting.
I believe that visualizing is the hardest and most powerful way to think. With conscious and persistent practice you can improve your ability to visualize.

Tip of the Day: Leaps in LearningLeaps in learning through my career, always came from working through great frustrating moments. Frustration is just your brain working hard to understand and improve on something difficult to learn. Gotta keep going!

"Drawing for Yourself"I've heard this tons of times and I do agree with it at some point. But I think there are different ways of explaining it.
As far as where I am now, I realize that I do not just draw for myself, but for everyone else. The most important element in my life are the people that have supported me for years. My friends, family, my followers, just everybody.
To be honest, I feel a lot better when I draw for everyone else instead of for myself. I love seeing the reaction on their faces and I am always eager to hear their full honest opinion. I want to know what they love, why they love it, and how does a certain thing make them happy.
All these months since 2011 I have been basically training myself to be a "giver". I draw for you guys. Even if it's original work of my own, I look for your reactions, whether they are good or bad. It helps me observe what I'm doing right and how can I improve. Before I even begin a sketch, the first thought that crosses my mind is "how can I impress

Tip of the Day: ConcentrationAn essential ability for success is to bend your concentration towards the things that matter the most.
Punch your mental distractions in the face and start concentrating on what matters.
If it's a loved one that is distracting you, don't punch them... just ask them to give you time to concentrate

I can't say that anything specific really inspired me. It was more a natural progression. I have been drawing since I was very young and honestly do not remember when I even started doing it, but I do remember always enjoying it and seeing it as my 'talent' throughout elementary and middle school. By the time I had to make a career choice in high school, I decided to do pursue it professionally because I just couldn't stand dividing my time between schoolwork and making my personal drawings. It was torture! So I felt I had to do it in

Tip of the Day: the StruggleLearn to enjoy the struggle. Our most memorable goals we achieve in our lives are always extra special because of the many hardships we had to endure before succeeding. MY STAY IN ENGLANDHey doods!

Appropriate journal skin is appropriate.
Anyhoo, I know it's been a long time since I posted a journal, but I have awesome-sauce news.
The first being that I just returned from my stay in England (my very first trip overseas ever).
And OMGGGG the country was so gorgeous and green, and the buildings were so pretty (the oldest buildings we have in California are maybe 70 years old, and boring, lol).
I stayed with my friend :iconslinkers: for the first week. Her family and her were really kind to take me in for that long.

She took me around her town (awesome pubs). We also went to see the ruins of a castle in Wales (and went crab fishing, lol), we went on a Beatles tour in Liverpool, and we we got to stay at her grandmother's cottage in the Lakes District (stunning!). It was all so amazing!
For the second week I went to London on my own, which was also incredible!
